Meet the Royal Crown Staff

Rob

Rob Fuglestad is the owner of Royal Crown Dental Studio Inc. He began his career in 1987 as a dental technician working along side United States Air Force dentists for 4 years. Between 1991 and 1998 he managed a dental lab in Fargo, North Dakota and then transitioned to managing a lab for 4 Rochester, Minnesota dentists. Rob purchased the lab in 2005 and has expanded the practice to serve Southeastern Minnesota and beyond.

He started his advanced education at Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota and finished his degree in Dental Technology at the United States Air Force School of Health Care Sciences. He has a degree in Business Management from University of Mary, Fargo, North Dakota. He is a Certified Dental Technician in Ceramics, Crown and Bridge, and Complete Dentures and has completed continuing education with the Dawson Academy.

Rob is a member of the Rochester Occlusal Study Club and has served on the Minnesota Dental Laboratory Association Board. He is also a member of the National Association of Dental Laboratories.

His interest in the sciences is preceeded by a grandfather who taught biology and was the pre-med advisor for 43 years at Concordia College in Moorhead; an uncle who retired as a biology professor from Concordia College, and several other relatives in medical related fields. Rob enjoys spending time with family, the outdoors, hiking, mountain biking, running, art and traveling.

Gina

Gina is a Laboratory Production Coordinator.  A team member since
Royal Crown Dental Studio Inc.’s inception, she coordinates schedules with dental offices and delivers cases. Gina also helps with production in the lab. She is a mother of 4 and enjoys spending time with family,travel, camping, biking and shopping.

Jake

Jake is one of our lead crown and bridge technicians. His role is to
fabricate the foundation for the final products. He has been with
Royal Crown Dental Studio Inc. since 2008. Jake studied physics and
engineering at the University of North Dakota. He enjoys outdoors,
running and biking.

Barb

Barb is our expert Ceramics Technician. Drawing from 25 years of
experience, her role is to take custom color matches on patients for
exact matches.  She has been with Royal Crown Dental Studio Inc.
since 2009.  Barb graduated from Dental Assisting School and worked
for a year as a dental assistant before starting in the dental lab. 
She is a Certified Dental Technician with a Ceramics specialty and
enjoys being with family, going to kids events and camping.

Missy

Missy works with preparing models that will be used to make crowns. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons, spending time with friends, talking with people, reading, volleyball and golf.

Clare

Clare brings 35 years of experience as a practicing dentist. Now retired from his dental practice, he has been contributing his expertise to Royal Crown Dental Studio Inc. since 1998.  He provides gold finishing, billing/computer, and consulting services for both the studio and our customers. He received his DDS degree from the University of Michigan in 1958. Clare had 35 years in a solo general practice in Michigan in addition to 3 years of clinical teaching at the University of Michigan. He enjoys golf, senior computer classes and motorcycling.

Allison

Allison, Rob’s daughter, has been helping out at Royal Crown Dental
Studio Inc. creating models that are used to make crowns. She also
provides clerical assistance and personalized delivery services. 
Allison is a 3rd year student at Purdue University. 
She enjoys movies, politics and traveling.
